*Keep your Saniderm on for no more than 3 days.
With clean hands, gently remove the bandage (that’s gonna be sticking at your skin) so shower time with warm water is the best.
*Wash with neutral soap (Dr. Bronner's Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soap, its my fav), don’t scrub!
*Pat dry well using a clean disposable towel or paper towel.
*Apply a healing ointment recommended by your tattooer (or what you usually have for your healing tattoos). Keep distance from petroleum based products.
*Twice a day for 2 weeks or the specific artist recommendation.
*No soaking it or exposing to direct sun for 2 weeks.
*Don’t pick at it when peels! I know it’s tempting, but the skin needs to peel naturally.
Tattoo ink takes to different areas of the body differently. Fingers are one such spot that doesn’t hold tattoo ink as well as the others parts. Our hands are one of the most active parts on the body. The constant washing, sanitizers, little fat in the skin, and the constant movement are all factors that play a part in the fading of fingers tattoos. For prevent your finger/hand tattoo from fading too quickly you need a extra care.
Proper healing of the tattoo is YOUR responsibility, don’t forget it !
